Providence Mayoral Candidates: How Did They Do in the Debate?

Debate moderator Dan Yorke, of GoLocal's media partner 630WPRO & 99.7, criticized the four Democratic candidates for Providence mayor for failing to offer specifics on how they would cut an estimated $50 million shortfall in the city budget. A past president of the Fraternal Order of Police in Providence, however, praised councilman John Lombardi for having a good grasp of the issues facing police officers in the city.
