Almonte Endorsed by Municipal Leaders

Independent candidate for General Treasurer Ernie Almonte has received the endorsements of Mayors Grebien and Lombardi, and Town Council Presidents Russo and Catanzaro.

"As Auditor General, Ernie was asked to help many cities and towns that were on the brink of financial collapse,” said Grebien. "When I took office, Ernie Almonte volunteered to work with my Administration to move Pawtucket away from bankruptcy and state take over. It takes a true leader with a proven track record of sound financial experience to run the state’s Treasury, and Ernie will use this position to help all of Rhode Island’s cities and towns get back on track. That is why I'm supporting Ernie Almonte for General Treasurer."
