Avedisian Not Ruling Out Run for Lt. Governor
Warwick Mayor Scott Avedisian insists he is still weighing a run for Lieutenant Governor despite having raised only $100 last quarter.
"I haven't made a decision yet," Avedisian told GoLocal when asked about whether he was going to run. As for the lack of fundraising, the Warwick Mayor told GoLocal that he did not actively campaign last quarter.

Neither individual has formally announced their candidacy.
Another possible contender in the upcoming race is Rep. Joseph Shekarchi (D-Dist. 23, Warwick) who told GoLocal in September that he was "considering all options" when asked about a potential Lieutenant Governor run.
Current Lieutenant Governor Elizabeth Roberts is unable to seek re-election in 2014 due to term limits.
Although the election is over a year away, McKee currently holds a commanding fundraising lead over Mollis. In fact, the Cumberland Mayor currently has over $151,000 cash on hand, according to his second quarter fundraising reports, which cover April 1 through June 30. Shekarchi is not far behind with the $126,066.59 that he currently has in his war chest as of June 30.
Mollis, the former Mayor North Providence, currently has $6,635.61 cash on hand as of June 30, while Avedisian possesses $33,226.13 in his war chest. Unlike McKee and Mollis, Avedisian's financial information includes third quarter fundraising, which he filed earlier this month.
