Linc Chafee  ->  Chafee's had the best ads of the cycle.  I've heard from every corner of the state about these smart and edgy ads - pay to play and bait and switch.  And the classic "who am I?" ads work for Chafee too.  And, trying to make the "my father is better than your father" TV ad will prove to be really smart or well, you get the point.

Frank Caprio  ->  It's simple really.  Rhode Island hearts Bill Clinton.  And getting him here and on TV is, well, genius.  Caprio's had a bunch of other great ads too - this one targeting women voters, this one talking about the number one issue - jobs, and especially this one which shows average Rhode Islanders criticizing Chafee's sales tax plan.

David Ciciline  ->  I love this ad.  Undoubtedly, this is in the top echelon of ads in Rhode Island this cycle.  "He's a sweetheart!

Anti Sam Katz  ->  This Winnepeg Mayor is featured in this ad where he kicks children in the face. Hilarious!

Elizabeth Roberts  ->  How do you stop a surging Bob Healey.  This ad is how.

The DGA  ->  I'm not a big fan of Democrats using the Republican 'tax and spend' playbook, but this DGA anti-Chafee ad got the job done. And this terrible one fails to recognize that one TV ad will not win over a liberal woman voter.

Jack Conway  ->  This US Senate candidate from Kentucky has one of the most effective ads this cycle.  And his negative ad about Aqua Buddah is pretty good too.

Peter Kilmartin  ->  This AG candidate continues to rollout solid ad after solid ad.

Kim West  ->  This Alabama state senate candidate gives a new meaning to "fixing" Alabama with her ad about donkeys.

Dale Peterson  ->  Alabama keeps on delivering with this viral ad about the Agricultural Commissioner's race: thugs, criminals, Facebook and dummies!

Ken Block  ->  This Moderate party candidate for Governor has a solid closing ad.

Gina Raimondo  ->  This Treasurer candidate doesn't need to do much to beat her Florida-based opponent, but this ad surely puts her over the top.

The Worst

Kerry King  ->  This Republican candidate for general treasurer does three things with this TV ad: reinforces that he's old, out of touch and not smart enough to produce a competent ad.  This one too.

Catherine Taylor  ->  I wanted to like this ad.  It had the classic setup: my opponent is bad and I am good.  But the "I am good" part became schizophrenic - is she being tough or is she being fun and silly?  I can't tell.  And it ruins the ad.

Joe Lusi  ->    Joe is a really nice guy, but this TV ad, if you can call it that, is not nice at all.

John Robitaille  ->  This over-dramatic black and white ad is over the top and non-persuasive - certainly not enough to overcome the Caprio/Chafee "two man race" narrative.

David Vitter  ->  This Republican Senator - notorious for, you know, liking hookers, takes a page out of the Karl Rove playbook with this TV ad - preying on the fear of immigrants.

Erik Wallin  ->  This ad is just plain creepy.

JP Pomnichowski ->  Not sure of the goal of this weird ad for a legislative candidate in Bozeman, Montana.  But it's bad.

John Loughlin  ->  Does he fly helicopters in this ad or is he just a passenger.  Sorry, John, this isn't Alabama.  People actually like Nancy Pelosi.
