Hinckley to Kick Off Ride4Jobs on July 9th

Thursday, July 07, 2011

Senate Candidate Barry Hinckley has organized a bike rally that will traverse 39 Rhode Island communities starting on July 9th. The rally, which Hinckley is calling Ride4Jobs, aims to bring attention the lack of energy Rhode Island politicians have spent on creating jobs.

"All too often, those in the political establishment find it easy and safe to shoot down people who bring fresh ideas to the table," Hinckley remarked. "During my years as a private sector job creator, I learned that listening to your customers is essential to the success of any venture. The politicians aren't listening to us, but we will make our message loud and clear in an effort to change that," concluded Hinckley.

Hinckley is currently the only announced Republican challenger to Senator Sheldon Whitehouse in the 2012 election.
