The Hinckley campaign says the major goals of the campaign’s first full quarter were to establish a professional and focused campaign organization in Rhode Island, build a strong and aggressive social media campaign, to travel through Rhode Island meeting with supporters, business leaders, and hardworking Rhode Islanders, and to kick off Hinckley’s bicycle rally, Ride 4 Jobs.

They say Hinckley has set ambitious fundraising goals for the third quarter.

“As a young campaign, we’re building a strong contingent of grassroots supporters throughout Rhode Island, and I’m pleased with our progress after only four months,” Hinckley said. “I am confident that with a strong campaign foundation behind me, I can focus 100% of my time on defeating Sheldon Whitehouse next year.

“Rhode Islanders deserve a Senator who is going to change the status quo by ensuring the solvency of Social Security and Medicare, tackling unemployment through serious jobs policy reform and tax reform, and balancing the federal budget,” he said.
