JOJO MONKEY

The problem here is there are too many left leaning progressive candidates that would keep Providence in the dark ages by continuing
big government entitlements, social services for illegals,etc.etc. etc..if you think your property taxes are high now wait until you elect one of these yard birds!

I.C. Havoc

I bet Marcus and 16 closest friends voted for the speaker who has so much baggage that to even think about becoming mayor is a joke!
People forget that Cianci is a convicted felon and should also not even be on this list!
I don;t think Prov has any ethical, moral, & honest people (or any RI city/town)to be mayor....
This is why I advocate for TERM LIMITS in the General Assembly by referendum because the legislator leadership refuses to have the sheeple lawmakers vote on it..The bill is always put in study..that means dead on arrival...The way the mayor's serving is term limited, so should the General ASSembly.

David Beagle

Have to wonder how much Buddy would demand for a city job, or a police academy appointment these days, or how much a tow company would have to pony up to get on the "list".

Sammy Arizona

the nutty Sean Hannity has promoted the twice convicted felon, and "alleged" rapist Cianci to his "Great American Panel" ....LOL

Why do the Right-wing-nuts admire convicted felons ??

anthony sionni

I am a candidate for mayor. I will never raise property taxes or car taxes. I will cut wasteful spending. I will only accept a salary of $50,000 a year, which is what the average median income is for head of household in Providence.

I will drive my own vehicle to work and get rid of the police chauffeur . This will save 1.5 to 2 million dollars over my first term in office. I will get rid of the exorbitant salaries at city hall. I will not give out free parking passes for the mayors staff to park at the Biltmore Parking Garage. This will save hundreds of thousands of dollars!

The current mayor want to raise taxes and give his staff who are making six figure incomes pay raises, I will never do such a thing!
