Governor Chafee called the changes a redeployment.

“I have a great staff that has been a tremendous asset in my first months in office,” he said. “We are currently redeploying staff members in order to continue to maintain a lean, flexible staff that is able to serve the people of Rhode Island effectively and with increasing efficiency.”
