NEW: Doherty ‘Greatly Troubled’ By Voter Fraud Accusations
Wednesday, August 22, 2012

“Having spent my entire adult life in law enforcement, I have learned the importance of knowing the facts and circumstances before reaching a conclusion,” Doherty said. “In my years as a criminal investigator, I relied on objective facts rather than emotion or intuition. I trust that our law enforcement agencies will conduct a thorough and competent investigation.”
The voter fraud accusation was leveled by Cicilline’s Democratic challenger Anthony Gemma. Doherty said he believes in protecting the integrity of “fair and free elections.”
“Given the nature of these allegations and the fact that they involve a sitting Congressman, Rhode Islanders deserve an immediate, clear and truthful response from their elected representative,” Doherty said. “Regardless of the final outcome, these allegations cast a cloud of suspicion over the electoral process. I am running for Congress to replace this cloud with a proven model of leadership, honesty and integrity.”

"I'm greatly troubled by the allegations of voter fraud. Anyway I hear that it's tough to find an apartment on Capitol Hill. Who do I speak with about that?"

Brady, your comments are trite and tiresome, but typical of the average under educated Rhode Islander. I bet you are one of those incrssant whiners that get angry every time a guy with two college degrees gets hired by the State for $100K, failing to realize that in the real world, that person would be making double
Instead of worrying about what other people make and dragging them down for it, lift yourself up - pull yourself up. Stop sitting around waiting for it to happen and do something. The whining is tired already.
