Magaziner Names Brock Chief of Staff

Treasurer Seth Magaziner has named Kate Brock as the next Chief of Staff in the Office of the General Treasurer.
"For the past three years, Kate Brock has been an exemplary member of Team Treasury. As Deputy Director of Retirement, she has worked with our counseling staff to deliver excellent service to our members,” said Magaziner.
Brock will succeed Patrick Marr who, after ten years of service to the state of Rhode Island under Treasurers Caprio, Raimondo and Magaziner, is transitioning to an opportunity in the private sector.

He has made a mark on every part of the office, and I can't wait to see what he does in the future,” said Magaziner.
Brock’s role takes effect on January 1, 2019.
About Brock
Brock currently serves as Deputy Director of the state's retirement system, where she has worked to implement customer service improvements including improved counseling resources for members of the retirement system.
Her previous experience includes Director of Government Programs at Delta Dental, policy aide for the Chafee administration, and as a labor organizer with SEIU.
