LIVE ELECTION UPDATE Langevin Easily Wins Re-Election 11 PM

Congressman Jim Langevin has easily won re-election over Republican challenger Mark Zaccaria in the Second Congressional District, with a nearly 30-point lead. Langevin took the race with 59.9 percent of the vote, while Zaccaria garnered 31.8 percent.
“I have never taken your vote for granted and I never will,” Langevin told supporters tonight. “Thank you for this strong victory tonight.”
It is the second time the two candidates have faced each other in an election. Zaccaria first ran against Langevin in 2008.
