Candidates for Governor Debate at Brown

Friday, October 15, 2010

As the race heats up, the four major gubernatorial candidates met for a debate at Brown University last night.

While there weren't many surprises, frontrunners Frank Caprio, a Democrat, and Lincoln Chafee, an independent, drew opposing positions on E-Verify and Gov. Don Carcieri's executive order on illegal immigration.

Watch the video to see what they had to say.

Republican John Robitaille and Moderate Ken Block also participated in the debate.
