The Providence Mayoral candidates, seen here in earlier action. GoLocal will live stream Thursday night's debate on site.

The three candidates for Mayor of Providence will square off at a forum at Providence Community Library (PCL's) Rochambeau branch on Thursday at 6 PM-- and GoLocal will be there to live stream the debate.

Buddy Cianci, Jorge Elorza, and Daniel Harrop will take part in the event sponsored by the Library Friends of Rochambeau, which will be moderated by the League of Women Voters.

“The candidates have little time left to make an impression on the voters so competition will be intense. PCL’s “Meet the Candidates” forums have been tremendously popular with patrons and we anticipate a packed crowd for this final event," said Cedric de Leon, representative of Rochambeau Library Friends.

According to PCL, Cianci, Elorza and Harrop will face off and respond to questions about neighborhood issues such as schools, libraries, safety, jobs and many other subjects of concern to their communities.

Rochambeau Library is located at 708 Hope Street.  Doors will open at 5:30 PM on Thursday and the forum will start at 6:00 PM. Seating is limited, so early arrival is advised by PCL.

And if you can’t make it in person -- go to www.golocalprov.com and watch the forum through live streaming.
