Democrat Raptakis Declares Run for Secretary of State

Democrat Lou Raptakis formally announced he was running for Secretary of State yesterday. Raptakis, a state Senator from Coventry, kick off his campaign at the Old State House on Benefit Street. He told supporters that he was running to improve public access to legislative information and cut regulatory red tape for businesses.
