Breaking News: Chafee wins teacher’s union endorsement

Former GOP U.S. Senator and independent candidate for Governor Lincoln Chafee today announced he has secured the endorsement of the RI American Federation of Teachers (RIAFT). The announcement launched by his campaign manager John Pagliarini via Facebook trumpeted the win over democrat Frank Caprio.
The endorsement comes just one day after a coalition of small business leaders pledged support for a group of both Republican and Democrats seeking re-election of running for the general assembly. More to come...
