poll: Should Gordon Fox Resign as Speaker of the Rhode Island House?

Saturday, March 22, 2014

Gordon Fox's State House office and home were raided by the FBI and IRS in conjunction with the Rhode Island State Police.

The U.S. Attorney's Office told GoLocal that the raids were part of an "ongoing law enforcement matter."

Fox, who has served as Speaker since 2010, has been called on to step down by a range of elected officials including State Representative John Lombardi and Cranston Mayor Allan Fung.

It is your turn - should the most powerful elected Rhode Island official resign for the best of the State?

He should stay lol..nothing will change, corruption is just part of the landscape up there,in fact he didn't do anything wrong, that's normal everyday business..democrats can do no wrong..Fox should call Eric Holder to stop the FBI investigation like he did for Harry Reid a couple of weeks ago.Fox is a gay, progressive democrat and that makes him untouchable.

this is a huge distraction for the state and legislature.

but who cares...

fox will try to cut a deal to keep his seat and step aside temporarily as speaker until this blows over... but I don't think its going to blow over.

just think of all the deals that were in the works, millions spent on lobbyists , favors,etc...

all up in the air for now.

What makes any of you so called "progressives" think that his replacement will be any different? Getting a leadership "role" makes them all think they are smarter than the rest of us. They're not, just greedier and more willing to sell out. Et tu Brutus?

Sammy the moron has been real quiet about this. "Good" news travels slowly to Arizona, apparently.

BWw that wonderfully accurate "poll" doesn't care how many times you vote.

G Godot....

I totally agree and as I posted on another thread....

It's the same circus just with a different head clown.

Too bad for Fox it isn't the Ides of March it would have went well with your "Et tu Brutus?"
