Is It Time For Occupy Providence to Pack Up?

  •     197 vote - Yes, it is time to pack up
  •     139 vote - No, their effort is important

In Boston and cities across the country, police have removed the Occupy movements from their encampments. The Occupy Providence movement in Burnside Park continues to operate without a permit. Police and GoLocal's news team has found there are few protestors still involved on site.

Is it time for them to leave or be removed?

Burnside park is being "occupied" by mostly homeless vagrants. Their message "give us stuff." Haven't we had enough of this entitlement mentality?

Paul Marshall

It's time for this FARCE to come to an end.

They promised they would "leave the park BETTER than we found it". What a LIE. How can we believe them? And just who are these people, and what compels them with what right to make demands on the rest of us so coercively?

Aren't we just about sick enough of this yet?
