Mary V. Cadoret, 81, passed away on Wednesday, November 28, 2018, surrounded by her loving family in the Brookdale Senior Living Center, Cumberland. She was the wife of the late Arthur E. Cadoret.

Born in Blackstone, MA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Isabelle (Stone) DePalo. She resided in Cumberland for the past 55 years, previously residing in Blackstone.

She was an avid animal lover, and also enjoyed sewing in her past.

Mary was a sales associate at the Providence Journal for 10 years. Prior to that she was the assistant director of former T.O.C.T.A. of Woonsocket for many years, and previously a dental assistant for the former Dr. Smith of Woonsocket.

She is survived by her loving children; Anastasia Johnson and her husband Russel of Cumberland, Glenn Cadoret of Washington, DC., and Laura Cadoret of Norfolk, VA; one sister, Theresa Brothers of Blackstone, MA; two grandchildren, Alicia and Kyle Johnson, both of Cumberland; one nephew, Michael Brothers; and one cousin, Linda Mowry.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Mary's Life Celebration, to be held on Sunday, November 2, 2018, beginning with Calling Hours from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., and continuing on Monday, November 3, 2018, at 9 a.m. in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. in St. Joan of Arc Church, Mendon Road, Cumberland. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Cumberland.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society, 931 Jefferson Blvd. #3004, Warwick, RI 02886.
