Obituary: Camilla Ferreira

Camilla Ferreira, 76, of Murrells Inlet, SC, passed away on Monday in Waccamaw Community Hospital.
Born in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Marie (Carvalho) Silva. She resided in Murrells Inlet for the past 13 years, previously residing Foster, RI. She was a strong devoted Catholic. Camilla enjoyed her walks on the South Carolina beaches and reading.
She is survived by her daughter Kristen Free, and her husband William of Cumberland; one grandson Billy Free; one sister Carmen Sutcliffe and her husband Robert of Murrells Inlet, SC, along with her niece Debra Sutcliffe, and her nephew Michael Sutcliffe; and one brother Carlos "Chick" Silva of Lincoln. She was the sister of the late Christine Brien.
Camille's Life Celebration will be held on Wednesday, beginning with Calling Hours from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. in the J. J. Duffy Funeral Home, 757 Mendon Road, Cumberland. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Heart Association, Rhode Island Chapter, 1 State Street, Suite 200, Providence, RI, 02908.
