Washington Trust Gives $10K to Local Food Pantries

'Tis the season to be giving.
Washington Trust's Charitable Foundation has donated $10,000 to local food pantries, with $7,000 assisting agencies in the South County region of Rhode Island and southeastern Connecticut.
In addition, Washington Trust staff will soon don Santa hats, roll up their sleeves and pitch in to help out at food pantries across the region this holiday season.

Of that amount, a total of $7,000 went to a host of agencies, including the Jonnycake Center of Westerly, W.A.R.M. Shelter of Westerly and Pawcatuck Neighborhood Center.
