U.S. Capitol Police Shoot Gunman at Capitol Visitor Center Monday Afternoon

On Monday afternoon, a gunman was shot by U.S. Capitol police and taken into custody after drawing a weapon in the Capitol Visitor Center, in what is believed to be an isolated incident.
A female bystander was reportedly injured in the gunfire.
