The Amica Ironman 70.3 is not for the faint of heart, especially when it's 90 degrees. It looks like one of the most painful activities around. Why do these people put themselves through so much torture? Or is it torture?
Watching these endurance athletes cross the finish line in Providence creates a whole new respect for people who compete in triathlons. You can tell that it is something special as you see and hear from the people who finished this 70-mile competition. Are these people crazy? Yes, probably a little bit. But who wouldn't mind being crazy if you're having that much fun!
