Providence Parking Ban Takes Effect 8 PM

As the storm bears down on Providence, a city-wide parking ban will go into effect at 8 p.m. today. The ban will remain in effect until 6 p.m. tomorrow. Cars in violation will be ticketed and towed, including those parked in school lots.
Also, trash removal has been postponed by a day, from Friday to Saturday, according to the Mayor’s office.
