Providence Man Arrested After Police Find Rifle, Marijuana in Home

Justin Ayala, 20, of Providence was arrested and charged with intent to deliver marijuana and possession of a firearm while in possession with intent to deliver marijuana after Providence police found an AR-15, ammunition and approximately 400 grams of marijuana at Ayala's residence on 28 Hillhurst Avenue.
The Incident
On Thursday, June 30 Providence Police Narcotics Detectives executed a search warrant at the residence and found a black rifle case with a .22 caliber Smith and Wesson Rifle Model M&P 15-22 inside it and a magazine loaded with .22 caliber rounds.

Police then located a box of sandwich bags and four boxes of .22 long rifle rounds. All of the evidence was seized and photographed by the police.
While the search was going on, Ayala arrived at the residence and was placed into custody.
