Pawtucket Mayor-elect: New Administration Takes Shape
Monday, December 13, 2010
Pawtucket Mayor-elect Don Grebien has made the first three major appointments to his administration—bringing back several veterans of previous administrations.
Grebien is keeping Finance Director Ronald L. Wunschel, a former banking executive and the city’s financial chief since 1998; and City Clerk Richard J. Goldstein, who has held that position from 1989 to 1998 and again from 2006 to the present, serving as the city’s chief lobbyist in the interim. He also named as his Director of Administration John T. “Jack” Gannon, a Pawtucket attorney who served as City Solicitor in the administration of former Mayor Robert Metivier.
“These are three people in whom I have the utmost confidence as quality professionals of the highest personal integrity, and who will help me guide the City of Pawtucket through these challenging times,” Grebien said.

Grebien is still seeking applicants for the positions of City Solicitor, Director of Public Works, and various administrative secretaries. Full details are available by visiting www.pawtucketri.com and clicking on Departments/Personnel.
