OSDRI Releases Schedule of Events Around Veterans Day

Operation Stand Down Rhode Island has released a schedule of events taking place around Veterans day. The events are as follows:
November 7
A comedy show and dinner to benefit OSDRI will be held at VFW Post #2812 at 1418 Plainfield Pike in Cranston
The show will feature comedians such as Mike Murray, Paul D'Angelo and Rhode Island's own Mary Ellen Rinaldi.

November 8
The 4th annual 5k to benefit the Wounded Warrior Project is set to take place in East Greenwich.
Following the race, there will be a celebration featuring a raffle, prizes, food, music and other entertainment.
The pre registration fee is $25, registering the day of the race is $30. The race begins at 9:30 a.m.
November 9
OSDRI will hold a ribbon cutting and dedication ceremony in celebration of it's new Veterans Service Center opening in Johnston.
The ceremony is set tot take place at 12:30 p.m.
November 11
The 5th Annual Women Warrior Luncheon at Quidnessett Country Club. The luncheon will run from 11:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. with single tickets costing $50.
All the proceeds from the lunch will help provide housing and services for homeless women vets at Operation Stand Down's Holly Charette House.

Operation Stand Down Rhode Island is an independent non-profit organization and Rhode Island's primary nonprofit resource for homeless and at-risk veterans. The organization was founded in 1993 and headquartered in Johnston.
