The meeting, scheduled today, Tuesday, Jan. 17, at the rise of the House and Senate sessions (around 4:30 p.m.) in Room 310 on the third floor of the State House, will include testimony from Gayle Corrigan, chief of staff to the city receiver; Richard Kirby, Central Falls city solicitor; and Steve Hartford, chairman of the board for the Wyatt Detention Facility.

The commission was created last year to conduct a comprehensive study of the Wyatt Detention Facility and its operations and finances and to offer recommendations to the House and Senate. The non-payment of annual impact fees by the Wyatt facility to Central Falls has been a main focus of the commission.
