NEW: Whitehouse to Roll Out Jobs Plan Tomorrow

Monday, August 06, 2012

As many Rhode Island workers and small businesses continue to struggle in this tough economy, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse will kick off a month-long August jobs tour of the state this Wednesday, August 8th, with visits to two companies that are owned and operated in Rhode Island: FarSounder, a Warwick company that develops sonar technology, and Imperial Packaging, a small carton manufacturing company based in Pawtucket.

Both FarSounder and Imperial Packaging are successful companies with future plans for expansion in the state. During each company tour, the Senator will hear from the respective owners and employees, and discuss his jobs plan for Rhode Island, which includes efforts to secure tax credits for companies that hire.

On his month-long jobs tour, the Senator will visit small businesses around the state to hear from their owners and employees about what they need to succeed and create jobs in the state.

so Sheldon has waited 5 and a half years in the US Senate to roll out his jobs plan NOW? Sounds just like Obama... what a fraud, political insider, hack. They wait for reelection and see that polling shows people care about jobs and the economy more than the other crap they lie and scare you about. NEW: Whitehouse to Roll Out Jobs Plan Tomorrow(as in august 7th, 2012... he only took his Senate seat in January of 2007) Way to go Senator! and for what... to secure tax credits? big deal... these companies deserve tax credits for hiring but they dont need to vote for Sheldon Whitehouse to get them.

he must be kidding...the country has been in depression for 5 years

Thanks Sheldon...under your reign, we've had hundreds of companies either close or pack up and head to business-friendlier territory.

The best "jobs plan" from Sheldon would be for him to not run for office again...That way, we can get someone in that office who actually knows what it's like to work for a living and knows what it takes to build business in the private sector.

The only thing Sheldon knows how to do well is cashing his trust fund checks (well, that and insider trading).

He's only 5 years late.
He not only has no idea what HE'S doing, but he has no idea what his SON is doing either.

Sheldon, take the next 6 years off and fix your family. Um, do that without being a senator, not like these past 6 years that you've taken off.
