Accordingly, Governor Lincoln D. Chafee has announced that Rhode Island will enact its adverse weather policy for non-essential state employees for Monday, February 11. Workers may choose not to report to work if they have the prior permission of their supervisor. Those who do not report will be required to discharge personal or vacation time.
