NEW: Three Protesters Chained to Textron Building Arrested by Providence Police

Providence Police and Fire arrested three protesters who chained themselves to the Textron building in downtown Providence Thursday morning.

Public safety personnel were on the scene to cut the chains of the protesters before taking them away.

Textron Systems is an aerospace and defense development and manufacturing firm headquartered in Providence.
Arrests, Charges Forthcoming
Lt. George Smith with the Providence Police Department said the protesters would be charged.
"They aren't violent, but they are obstructing a business," said Smith. "They will be charged."
