Public safety personnel were on the scene to cut the chains of the protesters before taking them away.

Individuals who were holding a sign in front of the building which read "Textron Stop Killing & Maiming Civilians" refused to comment.

Textron Systems is an aerospace and defense development and manufacturing firm headquartered in Providence.

Arrests, Charges Forthcoming

Lt. George Smith with the Providence Police Department said the protesters would be charged.

"They aren't violent, but they are obstructing a business," said Smith. "They will be charged."
