NEW: Sen. Whitehouse’s Son Charged with Drunk Driving
Wednesday, July 25, 2012

According to WPRI, Alexander Whitehouse failed a field sobriety test and blew a .09 after admitting to drink three Bud Lights and four shots of gin in two hours. Marijuana was also found in the car.
In May, Whitehouse attended the party held by Governor Chafee’s son where a girl was rushed to the hospital with alcohol poisoning.
Whitehouse is expected to appear in court Friday.

Never, never admit you were drinking. He should have taken Caleb's advice, law enforcement is not our friend. Seems like a conspiracy going down: little people versus privileged people. And in hard economic times, the mean get even uglier.

the entitled !
he earned nothing from the chaffee incident .
it's unfortunate that the real intoxification level could not be learned . since , there s not a routine test for being under the influence of drugs . not a great combination to be operating a motor vehicle .
perhaps the elite will just switch to just drug driving , and never be legally charged ?
until , thete is a fatality under current ri law .

Please, I've been in more bars and watched more law enforcement, lawyers, officers of the court, and elected officials get hammered and drive home. Save this sanctimonious BS.

Do you think that, just maybe, Weldon said to little Alex " The absolute last thing I need in an election year is for you to get busted on a DUI"? I wonder if it even occurred to Weldon. By the way, how many of you still believe that you g master Whitehouse merely drove over to young master Chafee' s pool spires to congratulate him on graduating, and then drove straight home? REALLY? REALLY?

Ahh yes, RI. You've gotta love it.
Young Alexander was involved in the Caleb party, but his part in that party seems to have vanished.
Now he's had 7 drinks in 2 hours, plus carrying pot in the car. Well, I'm sure the pot wasn't his (it must have belonged to a friend).
Here's a question to the justice department. Exactly how many times are we going to allow this spoiled piece of SH*T go on drinking, driving and partying, all at the age of 19?!?!?!?!?!?!?!??!!?
That's right, he's only 19 !!!!! Let's allow him to really hurt someone, maybe even kill someone. Then the cover up will really be a good story.
BTW, what are the criminal charges against Caleb, and the governor??
Funny how that story seems to have vanished.

"They were careless people, Tom and Daisy—they smashed up things and creatures and then retreated back into their money or their vast carelessness, or whatever it was that kept them together, and let other people clean up the mess they had made.”
-F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Great Gatsby
At least when Chafee or Whitehouse finally does kill a plebeian, this track record will make it easier for the dead plebeian's family to sue Whitehouse, Chafee, the State Police, etc.
