Tuesday, August 11, 2015
Rhode Island gas prices are down eight cents from last week, according to AAA Northeast.
“Expectations that the global oil market will remain oversupplied, at least in the near term, are keeping downward pressure on the price of crude, translating into savings at the gas pumps,” said Lloyd Albert, Senior Vice President of Public and Government Affairs for AAA Northeast.
AAA's latest survey shows that Rhode Island gas prices are averaging $2.59 per gallon for self serve regular unleaded.
