Three students with Rhode Island ties will be spending a lot more time in the White House this Fall.

Middletown native William O’Connor, a student at Georgetown University, and Kurt Ostrow and William Weber, two Brown University students from out of state, have been appointed to prestigious White House internships, the White House announced Monday night.

The mission of the program is to make the White House accessible to future leaders around the nation and to prepare those devoted to public service for future leadership opportunities.
