Rhode Island ranks as the second worst state for military retirees, according to a WalletHub report. 

How it Breaks Down

Rhode Island ranks 46 in Economic Environment, 34 in quality of life and 47 in health care, landing them in the number 50 spot overall.

The only state worse than Rhode Island is Indiana who ranks 51 while the best state for military retiree's is Wyoming.  

States that are just ahead of Rhode Island included District of Columbia at 49, Utah at 48 and New York at 47.
