NEW: Rhode Island Gas Prices Drop Three Cents

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are down three cents this week, following last week’s dramatic ten cent jump, according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s September 24th survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.95per gallon, three cents less than last week. Prices locally are up 10 cents over the last month.
The current price is 15 cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.80. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $3.67.
