NEW: Providence Schools Closed on Monday, February 9

With yet another significant snowstorm expected to hit the region early this week, the City of Providence has announced that all schools are closed on Monday, February 9. Pawtucket has also cancelled classes on Monday.

According to the National Weather Service, most of Rhode Island is expected to receive an additional 4-8 inches of snow on Sunday night, with a further accumulation of 3-5 inches on Monday.

While Moses Brown used to have two great hills, the recently installed softball field has reduced sledding real estate, but there is still opportunity for families to enjoy a fun day out in the snow.
