Snow Closes Many Schools on Monday

With another significant snow storm hitting , the City of Providence and other communities has announced that all schools are closed on Monday, February 2.  Besides Providence, Cranston, Johnston, East Providence, Newport, and Pawtucket have all cancelled classes as well. URI, RIC, PC and CCRI have also cancelled classses. Brown University is holding normal class schedules, however. Along with school closings, there is also a city wide parking ban in effect for Providence starting at 2am. Most cities and towns also have a parking band in effect as well. Check the list above for full details.
