Former Congressman Patrick Kennedy is a father.
Kennedy’s wife, Amy, gave birth to a baby boy Sunday evening, according to an e-mail sent out by his brother, Edward.
“On Behalf of Patrick, Amy, Harper and the rest of the family, I am proud to announce the birth of Patrick and Amy’s child, Owen Patrick Kennedy,” the e-mail states. “He was born April 15th at 5:30 p.m. weighing 6 pounds, 15 ounces and measuring 19 1/2 inches long. Patrick, Amy and the baby are doing well. Harper is happy to be a big sister. Owen stopped crying only when he was in his big sister’s arms.”
