Taylor Swift is bringing more attention to Westerly and this time it is not good. Early this morning at approximately 2:15 a.m., members of The Westerly Police Department arrested Lucas H. Vorsteveld, age 22, of 870 North Franklin Ave., Chicago, IL, for Trespassing.
A Patrol Officer conducting a Home Land Security check of the Watch Hill Lighthouse came upon a white male walking on Lighthouse Road; a road clearly marked as being a private road.
The Officer made contact with the subject and identified him as Vorsteveld. When asked what he was doing on the private road, he indicated he was just out for a walk. Vorsteveld indicated he was in town from Chicago and did not have a residence in town.
