Lt. Governor Elizabeth H. Roberts, Chair of the RI Healthcare Reform Commission, along with Senator Sheldon Whitehouse, Tri-Regional Administrator Kathleen Otte from U.S. Administration on Aging, and community partners RI Health Coverage Project and Ocean State Action, will host an event marking the second anniversary of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) on Friday, March 23rd at 10:00 am at the Providence Picture Frame & Dryden Gallery, 27 Dryden Lane in Providence.

The highlight of the event will be the real stories from Rhode Islanders who have benefited from the Affordable Care Act, which continues to provide thousands in our state with insurance protections, preventive benefits, and resources to improve care. Capping off the event will be an introduction by RISD Director of Government Affairs Babette Alina of the work on display from Lindsay Kinkade's visual and graphic design class, "Making It (Healthcare Reform) Understandable" (http://makingitunderstandable.tumblr.com/). Refreshments will follow (coffee and donut holes, and a healthy alternative--apples).
