NEW: Loughlin No Longer With Hinckley Campaign
Wednesday, April 04, 2012
John Loughlin is out as the executive director of Senate candidate Barry Hinckley’s campaign, according to multiple media outlets.
Former state GOP executive director Patrick Sweeney will replace Loughlin.
The changes come days after the Hinckley campaign incorrectly claimed the Senator Sheldon Whitehouse-sponsored “Buffett Rule” legislation that would raise taxes on the richest Americans would raise borrowing costs for cities and towns throughout the state.
