NEW: Langevin to Visit Summer Youth Employment Program Today

Congressman Jim Langevin today will continue his Rhode Island Skilled Economy (RISE) Tour at the Boys & Girls Club in Providence.

The event which highlights initiatives in the state that can help close the skills gap and ensure the state of a more qualified workforce to grow the economy. will take place at 1:30pm.

Langevin will be joined by RI Department of Labor and Training Director Charles J. Fogarty and the two will discuss the importance of summer employment and training opportunities for disadvantaged young people.
