NEW: Kent County Water Authority Lifts Boil-Water Order

The Kent County Water Authority has announced the boil-water advisory in effect has been lifted, according to its website.  

Message from KCWA

"We are pleased to report that sampling results beginning on Sunday, September 22, 2013 thru September 24, 2013 have all been negative for total coliform bacteria. The Rhode Island Department of Health after review of the results have allowed the rescinding of the Boil Water Advisory issued on September 22, 2013.

Kent County Water Authority will continue our testing protocols as before to assure our consumers that we are properly monitoring our system to comply with the Rules & Regulations of the Department of Health and EPA.
