NEW: Institute for Int’l Sport’s Doyle Arraigned on 18 Counts

Daniel E. Doyle Jr., Executive Director for the Institute for International Sport, was arraigned on 18 criminal counts in Superior Court this morning.  

Following a months-long investigation, Doyle was charged with seven counts of embezzlement, one count of obtaining money under false pretenses, five counts of forgery and counterfeiting and five counts of filing false documents.

Bail was set at $100,000 surety by Judge Robert D. Krause.  Doyle was orderered to hand in his passport by Monday, and restricted to travel in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
