The Boutique started as a therapeutic sewing program in the basement of one of the House of Hope’s housing units. Now it has grown into a social venture and workforce development program for formerly homeless women.

House of Hope CDC was established in Warwick in 1989 and has grown to become a trusted resource for Rhode Islanders in need of temporary and permanent housing and other critical, lifesaving supports.

The agency provides a myriad of social services to individuals and families while restoring a sense of community for residents that the stigma of homelessness had stripped away.
