NEW: Hinckley Calls on TV Stations to Pull Sen. Whitehouse Ad
Tuesday, October 30, 2012

In a letter sent to ABC6, WPRI and WJAR, campaign manager Pat Sweeney claims Whitehouse’s “falsely and maliciously” suggests that Hinckley wants to “gut” Social Security and Medicare and give “tax breaks” to the wealthy. Sweeney a; states the Democrat’s campaign is deliberately misrepresenting where Hinckley stands on the issues.
The letter cites a recent Hinckley op-ed in the Providence Journal that states that he supports raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans as well as similar comments made in last week’s debate on WPRI.
“While we appreciate Senator Whitehouse’s participation in the political debate over how best to pay down the national debt and save our entitlement programs, Whitehouse for Senate has no right to knowingly and willfully distribute false information in a deliberate attempt to mislead the citizens and voters of Rhode Island,” Sweeney said.

Yeah Jonathon...lies are good ads. Keep voting for status quo. Since Whitehouse went to DC unemployment, the debt, and gas has all doubled. Keep playing the democratic play book Sheldon. Scare the seniors and the class warfare. Whitehouse is the one that voted to cut $716 billion from Medicare and he is the one relaxing on his multi-million dollar trust fund, living in his 10,000 sq ft house, and comes home to take his yacht out. He is really in touch with Rhode Islanders. VOTE THEM ALL OUT

Being part of the Republican caucus in Washington is tantamount to backing tax cuts for the wealthy. He backs Romney, Ryan, Cantor and the rest of the right wingers in Congress.

Again, very intelligent arguments Jonathan. If you watched the debate, Mr. Hinckley said the wealthy will have to pay more. Stop drinking the kool aid and get your hand out of the sand. Apparently you are part of the extreme left that have killed this state. 2nd highest unemployment in the country and the worst place to start or run a business. Who has been in charge? Oh yeah, democrats for the last 70+ years. Read a book
