NEW: High Wind Warnings for RI

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for Bristol, Kent, Newport, and Washington Counties. The service has also issued a "High Wind Warning" for Block Island.
The advisory is in effect from 9pm tonight until 3am Wednesday morning. Winds speeds are expected to range from 25 to 35 miles per hour, with gusts of up to 50 miles per hour.
In Block Island, winds are expected to average 35 to 45 miles per hour, with gusts up to 55 miles per hour.

The service also warns against operating motor vehicles in high winds if possible.
