NEW: Gas Prices Up One Cent

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are up one cent this week , according to AAA Southern New England.
AAA’s October 1st survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.96 per gallon, one cent higher than last week. Prices locally are up 12 cents over the last month.
The current price is 18 cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.78. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $3.58.
