NEW: Gas Prices Unchanged From Last Week

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island are unchanged this week, according to AAA Southern New England.

AAA’s October 9th survey of prices in Rhode Island found self-serve, regular unleaded averaging $3.96per gallon, the same as last week. Prices locally are up eight cents over the last month. The current price is 15 cents above the national average for regular unleaded of $3.81.

A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $3.54.
