NEW: Gas Prices Down One Cent

Gasoline prices in Rhode Island have fallen by one cent per gallon for the second week in a row, according to AAA Southern New England.

The price of regular unleaded averaging $3.53 per gallon, one cent lower than last week and five cents lower than a month ago, nine cents above the national average. A year ago at this time Rhode Island’s average price was $2.88.

Gas prices in Massachusetts found self-serve are about $3.40 per gallon, down two cents from a week ago.
